A little gem of a shop! Inside you can literally find everything, you could spend hours there, the quality of the products is really good and the sandwiches are really the stuff of indecent goodness. But the big difference is made by the owner, Luca, who is nice, kind and friendly. He has that Italian authenticity that you immediately fall in love with! He even won over our dog Teo! You absolutely must stop by this shop! It is an experience to partake in!
You must stop by here! Fantastic stuffed sandwiches, with local cured meats and cheeses, products from the area and province, typical and sought-after. But the difference is made by the owner, a likeable character full of jokes. The shop is a reflection of his personality.
Very quaint well-run place, friendly staff, delicious sandwiches, recommend to all
I had been told that I couldn't go to Orta San Giulio without popping in here, and I wanted to try it: I ate two exquisite stuffed sandwiches, made on the advice of the owner himself, an affable, friendly person who not only sells but also offers advice on how to stuff the sandwiches properly. The products are excellent and fresh. Optimal prices, in relation to the quality of the products. Really recommended!
When you arrive in Orta, forget the restaurants and pizzerias, go straight to this rotisserie and have the owner make you a spectacular sandwich. The friendliness and salesmanship are to be commended, with tastings and explanations that you cannot ignore. Along with the sandwiches you will also get a tip on where to enjoy them in peace away from the hustle and bustle of tourists 😉 only advice don't stay inside too long or you will empty the shop!
A shop with a large assortment of typical Piedmontese products. The first time I was in Orta I bought the San Giulio bread that the owner recommended and it was delicious. Now I'm back and I've bought Serena's bread. This is also very yummy. By now it will be an obligatory stop when I return to this area.
We went in for some simple sliced meats and a world of goodness and friendliness of the owner opened up, who was welcoming and very kind and did not hesitate to let us taste the delicacies from his shop. The sandwiches with delicious raw ham accompanied us in our lunch break with the real air of Orta ... and he sells that too!!! We'll be back! Gabriella and Francesco
Boutique très cool, sans prise de tête ! Panini super bon ! Focaccia con salami è tomo oppure con prosciutto crudo è gorgonzola ! Buono pranzo ! Grazie
We walked in by chance and were greeted by a great smell of cold meats and cheeses. The owner was welcoming and friendly and recommended two really good sandwiches, super filling and tasty. He also let us taste products that we decided to buy. Recommended for a lunch break with a lake view! Good attention to local products. Recommended
For a nice warm sandwich, loaded with cold cuts and cheese, and why not also for a smile, this is the ideal place. We had: walnut focaccia with gorgonzola and speck, walnut focaccia with salami and toma, olive focaccia mortadella and toma. Two beers. Cost 20€. And I can assure you that your stomach is more than satisfied.
He is the undisputed king! You absolutely must try his sandwiches and specialities. If you go to Orta, stop by and you won't regret it.
